Kathy Bertone is a published author, speaker, television guest and former lifestyle newspaper columnist. She has several projects she is currently working on, including a movie for television and reality television project.
Prior to launching her writing and speaking career, Kathy was the managing partner of CO Group, Inc., a Merger and Acquisition firm outside Washington, D.C., where for fifteen years she successfully handled the sale of privately held companies ranging in size from $1 million in annual revenue to over $50 million. She has published articles on the subject of M&A and has spoken at national trade conferences.
Before beginning her work in private business sales, Kathy helped raise venture capital for several start-ups, including a private placement for a destination airline serving Aspen, Colorado, and a resort development company in the Caribbean. In these capacities Kathy worked extensively with high net worth investors, the professional teams of lawyers and consultants, both domestic and foreign senior government officials, and members of the community.
She moved to Naples, Florida full-time in 2009 and started Bertone Production and Design International, LLC. She was on the board of the Naples Woman's Club where she served as publicity chairperson. She was graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
